Tom's internal monologue is occasionally fairly sarcastic, both about himself and about scruffy bounty hunters! Nicholas, on the other hand - despite current circumstances - tends to be fairly perky and optimistic. And they're going to have such fun building a nest together...
Also, of course, they'll drop in again in the next proper Kitten & Witch story! Tom's a good friend to have when Colin's in trouble...
