My sincerest apologies, I missed this back in December, and found it today when I checked out your new entry. Oh, the new developments in your fiction sound wonderful: an embarrassment of riches! And the crossover was a wonderful thing, a great opportunity to mature and resolve so many issues, and deepen both the relationships, and the readers' understanding of the characters, yes, "mooshing" them together was a wonderful choice! (Bless Colby, the absolutely most empathic of characters, and so brilliant at seeing more than the surface in others; his endorsement is such a gift for Marcus.) So looking forward to both Renovations and the magicians books. I hope the family drama resolved with minimal pain; the end of a relationship can be such a minefield to negotiate, especially if one partner is determined to be difficult. Pain so frequently gets projected on the other partner, and then acted out on. Best wishes that this is the only Christmas you will all have to deal with this disruption.
