“Renovations,” the Character Bleed bonus story people requested! (You all said you wanted to see it, when I said this was part of my headcanon...and we had all those comment-conversations about it...so I wrote it out properly! This one's for you; you know who you are. <3)

~fabulous steampunk bathroom remodeling (I've given myself Interior Design Envy)
~Colby picking up a hammer to help, & Jason’s reaction (OH yes)
~bread-baking & sunlit kitchen kisses
~(please check warnings on this one, at the beginning, though! mostly just for chapter one, because the rest is comfort + renovating, but still)

I have a few things in here - "Magician" in Fantasy and also in Romance and in Worldbuilding, and "Frost & Raine" in Urban Fantasy and in Novella, plus a couple of characters in both Best Lead and Best Supporting Character, if you might like to toss a vote or two this way... ! It's an honor, and I'm so excited.

(Actually that's not true - one more thing - KJ Charles recommended Seaworthy (Character Bleed Book 1) over in her Facebook group! And I am still flailing about that, because !!!!!!! *screams a lot*)
I do still need to do a proper year-end round-up post, but...that seems like a lot of work, and I have two book reviews to finish and some copy-edits to look through, so...when I've got the time / mental space, perhaps! But there are a few things I'm very proud of this year. :-)
